Train2Drive Teen Driving Program

The first year behind the wheel is critical. That's why Colorado - and other states across the country - have adopted new Graduated Drivers Licensing (GDL) laws for teen drivers.

Colorado's laws are designed to help teens gradually - and safely - build their skills and experience behind the wheel. The parents' job is to know and enforce the laws.

30 Hour State Teen Driving Program

The Center for Transportation Safety brings a unique perspective to training young drivers.

Our Train2Drive Teen Driving Program is without question the most advanced course ever offered in the nation for young drivers to learn the principals of driving and to prepare them to take the State Written and Skills Driving Exams.

Where other classes in Colorado do a limited classroom course with only videos, lectures, and homework assignments, this course challenges the new driver and provides them with the knowledge and skills they need to exceed requirements.

Train2Drive utilizes state of the art driving simulators with true life scenarios and skid control vehicles which are true skid units where students will learn how to recover from a skid and manage the methods to prevent a roll over. Evasive driving techniques from the wheel of late model test vehicles will train them on methods of ABS brakes and brake and steer methods.

Train2Drive instructors are highly qualified retired/former Law Enforcement Officers with years of service dedicated to saving lives. Their true life highway safety experience brings to point the many factors of keeping teens safe today.

As a part of the Train2Drive curriculum, the student will participate in the Alive at 25 Program. For more information on the Alive at 25 Program, please go to www.aliveat25.us.

If they would like to, parents also have the opportunity to participate by taking the Alive at 25 Parent Premium Program to assist the parent in becoming the best coach, mentor, and example for the new developing driver. For more information on the Alive at 25 Parent Program, please go to www.aliveat25parentprogram.us.
