From the seat of a FAAC PP2000 virtual reality simulator, each driver spends time in situations normally impossible to duplicate for training purposes.


Drivers are trained in situations where they are required to safely manage a 15 passenger van.  Situations include vehicles loaded with people and cargo.

  • Snow and Ice
  • Wind, from gusts to unexpected turbulence
  • Rain and the resulting hydroplaning
  • Soft shoulder recovery
  • Over-steering responses
  • Vehicle failures
  • Blown steer tires and recovery methods
  • Long mountain passes and proper gear selections
  • Long downhill grades and proper gearing
  • Braking and choosing the proper methods
  • Hazard avoidance measures
  • Animals
  • Pedestrians
  • Road hazards
This course addresses the many conditions that a driver will be faced with in the normal duties of operating a vehicle.

Upon the completion of this course, the driver will have experienced situations and learned skills that will provide a level of confidence if and when the same situations arise in real life.
