Emergency Medical Services

Driving is an important part of the Emergency Medical Technician's job. The Center for Transportation Safety provides pre-employment evaluations, training, and refresher courses to keep both drivers and patients safe en route.

The Center for Transportation Safety's simulators have extensive scenarios covering the driving characteristics of ambulances (high center of gravity, weak braking, etc.). We can put your drivers in the simulators and let them practice high speed and dangerous real life situations.

We also provide periodic topics and simulations to help invigorate your safety meetings, bringing an outside perspective to your operations. As part of our annual contract, we provide safety materials to help your trainers stay on top of the safety message.
